Democrats have dropped their worn-out Trump derangement syndrome and traded it in for anti-Elon Musk hysteria. These ill-informed, albeit dangerous, outbursts are born out of an ideology based on hating politicians because they're told to. Liberals actually love billionaires until one like Musk comes around and aligns himself with Trump's government efficiency agenda, after which their hate is redirected towards a new ambiguous enemy.
While these isolated acts of violence are wrong and should be condemned by all, the underlying anger against Trump's right-hand oligarch isn't and shouldn't be. Trump's economic policies, backed by Musk, have sent Americans' retirement funds plummeting, and the president chose to respond by holding a photo shoot to encourage people to buy a new car. If public sentiment has led to a 50% decline in Tesla's stock, it would behoove Trump to start asking why.
