Federal immigration enforcement operates under constitutional authority that no local official can nullify, yet coordinated activist networks funded by progressive groups deliberately obstruct lawful ICE operations through misinformation and street-level interference. These calculated efforts to delegitimize federal authority have predictably produced violence, turning protesters into casualties of a political war waged by leaders who won't face consequences when arrests are made. Immigration law doesn't expire through neglect, and enforcing it represents the bare minimum of governance that 75 million voters demanded.
ICE's expanded detention authority now targets people with green cards and legal status, subjecting them to dehumanizing conditions that worsen mental health through isolation, inadequate care and practices like solitary confinement. The cruelty extends beyond detention as agents shove pleading mothers to the ground in front of crying children, harass U.S. citizens despite proof of residency and produce propaganda videos comparing immigrants to monsters. This administration treats deportation as performance art rather than policy, prioritizing photo ops over human dignity.
