Meanwhile, teams like the Texas Rangers, who continue to openly exclude minorities, installed a statue honoring a man who blocked Black students from integrating a school — and the MLB wouldn't even put the commissioner on record to address it. Selective outrage over front-office politics ignores far more concrete acts of open institutional bias.
