Did Obama orchestrate a conspiracy against Trump or did bipartisan investigations validate the Russia findings?

The Spin

Pro-Trump narrative

Obama orchestrated a treasonous conspiracy — conspiring with multiple foreign governments — to sabotage Trump's presidency by manufacturing false intelligence about Russian collusion. Declassified documents show Obama directed Brennan and Clapper to fabricate the 2017 intelligence assessment, using discredited sources like the Steele dossier to delegitimize Trump's election and launch a years-long coup. Even former federal informants like Patrick Byrne now admit they were part of the hoax. Trump's renewed call for Obama's arrest is simply long overdue accountability.

Anti-Trump narrative

Trump’s renewed calls to arrest Obama are a cynical attempt to rewrite history and weaponize the justice system. Multiple bipartisan investigations — including a Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee — confirmed Russia interfered in 2016 through hacking and propaganda ordered by Putin. Claims of fabricated intelligence collapse under the facts: the Steele dossier was not central to the 2017 assessment, and DOJ reviews found no anti-Trump conspiracy. This is retaliation, not accountability, and a continuing pattern of Trump's lies about Obama ever since the birther conspiracy in 2011.
