Is this a dangerous decision ignoring crises, or a justified response to fraud and improved conditions?

The Spin

Left narrative

Ending TPS for Somalis ignores the reality that Somalia remains plagued by al-Shabaab violence, severe drought and humanitarian crises that have displaced millions. Sending 2,471 people back to dangerous conditions puts lives at risk based on unsubstantiated fraud claims that scapegoat an entire community. This decision targets Minnesota for its diversity while federal agents terrorize communities.

Right narrative

Somalia's conditions have improved enough to no longer justify temporary protection, and allowing Somalis to remain contradicts national interests when billions in taxpayer dollars have been stolen through organized fraud. Minnesota has become ground zero for immigration fraud within Somali clans who lied on documents to access programs meant for vulnerable Americans.
