Israel prepared to send negotiators to discuss a Gaza cease-fire,the US reportedly warned Iran against attacking Israel,and Hezbollah pledged to carry out a "strong" response following the killing of one of its commanders,as it launched a drone strike into northern Israel.This comes as an Israeli strike on a Gaza school allegedly killed over 100,Israel's allies criticized Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich's comments that starvation in Gaza may be justified,Israel was accused of torturing detained Palestinians,and an attack on an airbase in Iraq wounded at least seven US personnel.Elsewhere, the White House contacted Ukrainefollowing an attack on Russia's Kursk region,which was claimed by Kyiv,and Russia reportedly launched an attack on a supermarket in Donetsk.Meanwhile, Iran allegedly received missile defense systems from Russia,and the US reversed an arms sale ban on Saudi Arabia.
