Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian traveled to Armenia to discuss the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity corridor,Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Saudi Arabia,the U.S. sanctioned International Criminal Court officials,and Israel revoked the visas of several Australian diplomats to the Palestinian Authority.Meanwhile, a report claimed that the U.S. reached deportation deals with Honduras and Uganda,Mexico denied that it had reached an agreement with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration,and a U.K. court ordered asylum seekers to be removed from The Bell Hotel,as total asylum applications to the country reached a record high of 111,084 over the past year.In other news, Canada's Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre won an Alberta by-election,Myanmar's military government set an election for Dec. 28,Brazilian police claimed that former President Jair Bolsonaro drafted an asylum request to Argentina,and Colombia freed former President Álvaro Uribe from house arrest.This comes as Peru paused investigations into President Dina Boluarte,Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez's wife was charged with embezzlement,former Malian Prime Minister Kokalla Maiga was arrested for allegedly misusing public funds,and a Tanzanian court banned the live streaming of treason proceedings against opposition leader Tundu Lissu.

US Politics

The White House launched a TikTok account,Trump's approval rating held at a second-term low of 40%,an appeals court dismissed Trump's $500 million civil fraud penalty,and Trump planned an executive order to ban mail-in ballots.Meanwhile, the Texas House passed a new congressional map to create five more GOP-leaning seats,after Texas Democrats ended a walkout over the redistricting effort,and California approved three bills authorizing a special election to vote on whether to adopt new congressional maps,as four GOP lawmakers filed a challenge to the redistricting plan.In other news, Trump ordered the U.S.-Mexico border wall to be painted black to deter climbers,a judge ordered the dismantling of Florida's "Alligator Alcatraz" detention center,the White House announced plans to review over 55 million visa holders,and data indicated that the State Department has revoked over 6,000 student visas this year.This comes as the FBI raided the home of former national security adviser John Bolton,Trump revoked the security clearances of 37 intelligence officials,the Office of the Director of National Intelligence faced a 50% reduction in its staff,six foundations committed $37 million to provide relief to public media stations affected by cuts,and the FBI named Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey as co-deputy director.
