John Raymond Hanger

John Hanger is a Pennsylvania environmental lawyer and former state official who served as secretary of the Department of Environmental Protection under Governor Ed Rendell from 2008-2011. He ran unsuccessfully for governor in 2014 and has been an advocate for renewable energy and environmental policy. Hanger currently works as an environmental consultant and continues advocacy work on climate issues.
