The Spin

Anti-China narrative

Leaked “Sword 208” documents show Russia arming China and building an automated airborne command network to make a Taiwan invasion — once thought impossible — achievable. By linking every paratrooper and commander in real time, this system removes the chaos of amphibious assaults and turns scattered units into a coordinated strike force. RUSI analysts warn that airborne assault will be the spearhead of China’s 2027 campaign, with Taiwan only the first target in a wider push across the Pacific. The countdown to Beijing’s expansion began — and the invasion is coming.

Pro-China narrative

China is not Russia, and Taiwan is not Ukraine. Claims that “Sword 208” signals an imminent invasion exaggerate routine planning. China has not conducted major combat operations since 1979 and maintains only one overseas base. Beijing remains committed to peaceful reunification with Taiwan through dialogue, cross-Straits integration, economic and cultural cooperation, and the One Country, Two Systems framework, seeking mutual understanding and stability. The Black Moon leaks describe internal exercises and command systems, not an attack plan, contrary to Western fearmongering.
